Refurbishments

We are pleased to announce, that with Phase 1 of the Tennis and Health Club Refurbishment now complete, it is back to business as usual! As you will notice, the Café has undergone a complete transformation, culminating in not only a more visual pleasing but significantly more family friendly area with 3 computer terminals added for younger children to play on.  Alongside the physical changes, a new menu has also been introduced not only with the popular dishes you require, but also for quicker speed of service.  As a result of requests, draught lager is now available and for the more health conscious of you, a selecton of new smoothies have been introduced.

The newly opened Children’s Playground and multi sport area is  already proving to be quite a hit with many of our Junior members. The playground is aimed at children aged 2 to 5 years with a separate section for 6 to 12’s, this area contains various climbing apparatus and sprung toys on rubberised safety surfacing plus benches for adults to relax while supervising their children. This purpose built multisport area provides us with a further range of activities here at the club. Booking will be available as per our current tennis courts, with supervised sessions structured as part of the Club's overall activity plan.

So what’s next?…Phase two of the Café redevelopment is set to start at the beginning of 2009 (subject to planning), at which point we will commence refurbishing the Adult Lounge into a more modern, contemporary style. There will also be the added advantage of an adult only dining facility set within the additional conservatory area alongside relaxing sofas and soft furnishings, which promises to be a quiet haven for those wishing to unwind.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for your understanding during phase one of the renovation work. We very much hope you will be pleased with the changes, and look forward to your feedback.
