Facilities Manager

Report to: VP of Project Management and Construction

Job description:

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to provide pro-active business driven leadership to the Facilities team, whilst assuming overall responsibility for their daily operational effectiveness. Drive a Commitment to Excellence in the service provided whilst achieving optimum profitability.

You will provide a strategic, business led and proactive management of our facilities to optimise the performance of Wentworth Club. This will be achieved by pro actively managing, maintaining, servicing and securing our buildings, facilities and assets.

The successful candidate will:

Prepare an annual strategic plan focusing on business opportunities for the Facilities department that focusses on proactive maintenance programme, reactive maintenance management, capital projects, service deliver and operational effectiveness.

Actively coach your management team to maximise performance

Proactively plan your business to ensure that your teams are fully briefed and prepared to run a smooth and efficient operation.

Ensure that all buildings both internally and externally are managed to the highest possible condition at all times including daily maintenance and cleaning

Identify opportunities to improve our supply chain that provides a better cost base and a high level of service.

Health Club Chef (Tennis & Health)

Job description:

As Head Chef you are responsible for researching, planing and delivering a healthy, nutritious menu that reflects the needs and expectations of our members., current health trends and seasonal variations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef at Senior Sous level who has an interest in health and nutrition, engaging with our members in a open plan kitchen, expressing that passion for food.

The successful candidate will:

To provide clear recipes, illustrations and guidelines to assist in the preparation of all standard dishes. Training all Kitchen staff on the preparation and quality expectation of each dish.

To order all food products, using nominated suppliers and ensuring the highest quality produce is used at all times. Managing any deviation with Executive Chef.

Effectively manage all stock produce to ensure food quality is maintained.

Effectively manage a food safety system to ensure, legal compliance, food safety and quality ensuring all mandatory checks are undertaken and appropriate records kept.

Effectively plan and prepare your team to meet the needs of the Café. In terms of rotas, Mis-en-plus and food service.

Spa Head Therapist (Maternity Cover)

Department: Spa

Report to: Spa Manager

Job description:

As Spa Head Therapist you are responsible for ensuring that treatment standards and the fine details of operating within the treatment rooms are upheld to the highest quality at all times.

You’ll supervise a team of Spa Therapists ensuring the maintenance of standards in terms of treatments, Spa best practices, therapist presentation and communication skills, cleanliness and operating standards within the treatment rooms.

This role will be a mix of 60 to 70% spa based and the rest being office based, We ensure our staff have adequate rest and prep time between treatments, we also ensure that our therapists do no more than 4 hours of massages per day.

As our Spa Head Therapist you will be responsible for the following key areas of responsibility

The successful candidate will:

Supervising the team of Spa Therapists and client’s treatment journey in accordance with our procedures

Motivating and leading the Spa Therapist team to look after their own personal health and wellbeing

Ensuring all holistic treatments are coordinated and completed in line with the company standards.

Supporting the Spa Manager to ensure staffing levels and rota’s are set in accordance with business requirements

Carrying out monthly job chats with all Spa Therapists

Carrying out a daily audit of all treatment areas ensuring that treatment rooms are presented according to the Spa standards

Assisting in driving revenue generation in the Spa.
