PRO SHOP ASSISTANT (FULL-TIME, PERMANENT)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pro Shop Assistant in our Club Pro Shop.
Within a cohesive team of three retail professionals, you’ll work alongside the Pro Shop Supervisor and Manager, executing day-to-day retail processes and procedures, including stock control, customer service, sales, and visual merchandising.
As the Pro Shop Assistant, you’ll provide exceptional and personalised customer service, ensuring the Shop and merchandise are presented to the highest standards.
Ideally, you’ll be an enthusiastic golfer with a demonstrable working knowledge of retail.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary. Working routine would typically be 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days per week) and will include working weekends and bank holidays.
Key activities include:
Being customer facing as much as possible, providing impeccable customer service and product knowledge to our members and customers.
Making a proportionate contribution to sales and making retail recommendations of best practice.
Processing customer orders using CRM tools – ensuring professional, timely and accurate communication with members.
Placing orders for customers and supporting stock control / audits.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:
Experience of retail operations (preferably in golf merchandise).
A strong interest in golf is desirable – the job holder will be expected to converse with and provide recommendations to customers.
Competent in using Microsoft 365, Excel to an intermediate level.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to create a positive and innovative atmosphere.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at a level that is understood.
Naturally confident with an ability to appraise a situation and adapt to the needs for positive outcomes.
Creative, with the determination to convince others in sharing ideas and creating options to challenging situations.
High attention to detail with a systematic approach in delivering efficient retail services.

CHEF DE PARTIE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our professional F&B team to create culinary offerings that celebrate creativity, sustainability and provenance.
Key accountabilities:
Responsibility for the production of food within the designated section, supervising junior chefs and checking that all dishes meet with our exacting standards before going out
Ensuring compliance with stock control procedures including the appropriate storage, rotation and retention of stock
Work collaboratively with all sections of the kitchen, supporting efficient communication, teamwork and service

Previous experience in a comparable role, ideally within a 5* environment
A positive ‘can do’ attitude, highly organised, methodical and communicative

F&B ASSOCIATES (Full & Part-Time)
We currently have openings for passionate and talented F&B Associates to work in a unique and stunning environment across our Halfway Huts and our Restaurant. This is no ordinary, run of the mill job! To serve our Members you must be engaging and have a real desire to deliver exceptional heartfelt and genuine customer service. You will also have an unquestionable enthusiasm for developing your F&B product knowledge and a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes
Team player, with a desire to deliver the highest levels of customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to remember Members names and their preferred tipple.
Previous experience of working with a luxury, high end brand would be advantageous.

CLEANERS (PUBLIC AREAS & BOOT ROOM)
We have openings for experienced full-time and part-time cleaning staff to join our dedicated Housekeeping and Cleaning team. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you’ll work on a rota basis across our Iconic Clubhouse and Tennis & Health Club, ensuring Member and staff areas are kept clean, sanitised and up to 5-star standards. You will also service the Club’s guest bedrooms.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is seeking a permanent, full-time (40 hours per week), or part-time (24 hrs per week) position.
Shifts operate for 8 hours within 6:00am – 10:30pm, Monday – Sunday.
Following selection, the role is available for immediate start.
Key areas of activity will include:
Ensuring all areas are presented to the Club’s high standards at all times
Following departmental schedules and procedures
Completing daily tasks in addition to any ad-hoc tasks set by the Head of Housekeeping
Taking responsibility for the security of keys whilst on shift
Highlighting any issues requiring attention
Cleaning Member Golf Shoes in our Golf Boot Room
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Attributes:
Successful candidates will have a good eye for detail and enjoy delivering the highest standards of cleanliness across all our Club areas, either independently or as part of a wider cohesive team.
Whilst on-the-job training is provided, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in cleaning and servicing rooms in hospitality environments.
You will enjoy working to schedules that puts the priority of our Members first. Naturally proactive, you’ll possess the ability to prioritise unscheduled work as and when required.
Fluent in both verbal and written English, you can converse politely with Members and staff. Well-groomed and of smart appearance, you will need to meet the day-to-day physical demands of the role, so being physically fit is important for this role.
Previous experience of housekeeping in hospitality would be advantageous; however, applications will be also considered from candidates who are able to demonstrate proactivity, commitment, and delivery of high standards.
